The new Warriors line at Wizard World Chicago

Post by TCM Hitchhiker »

First let me give you some details I learned....

- These are very early prototypes, the heads arrived from China JUST in time for the San Diego Comic Con., so they will be going under some slight changes.

- The heads will be shrunk a bit, they are slightly too large now, and will be in scale on the production figures.

- It's quite possible that the Swan likeness will be tweaked a bit, but that is not definite.

- The shoes will be removable.

- It sounds like there will be 6 figures in the first series, but Mezco is being tight lipped right now. If series one does well enough, there will definitely be a series two.

- Mezco wants a series two and beyond just as much as we do, so if you want to see the line continue, support these figures like crazy, don't just sit around, complain and expect the worst. ;)

These are VERY impressive in person. The articulation is amazing, meaning you will be able to pose these in all sorts of positions. They are the coolest toys I have seen since the 70's!

Any Warriors fan who does not add these to their collection, is CRAZY! By far the coolest Warriors product, sans the film, ever produced. I CAN NOT wait for these!!!!! There is a lot of stuff to see at Wizard World Chicago, but NOTHING impressed me nearly as much as these.

Very cool!  I am in.  But, as soon as anybody knows what the back of the vests look like, please let us know.

These look very cool and better than the original's and i will be willing to sell my original's for these but we have to wait till 08 but my only worry is these will be internet only like that last one's and you'll rarely see them in store's but maybe it'll be different but i won't mind buying them online even if your high priced and thank's for the info TCM i probably never woulda heared about them if you didn't tell us.

Well I'll be honest.  I like the Orphan, his face is right on.  I don't know about the whole dress me up concept.  The Fury looks bulky, if I do buy one it will be the Orphan.

not too excited about these. nothing beats the look of the original toys.

these are more like gi joes then the badass, broken bottle, bloody, dirty, toys we've been collecting.

im sure ill get some for Christmas but i dont see them becoming collectible.

These look awesome. I like that they are different than the 1st series. I am only missing the blue and green baseball furies in that series.  2008 can't come soon enough. Anyone know an EXACT release date?
