Replica leather Warriors vest...Worth buying?
Replica leather Warriors vest...Worth buying?
I really like the replica vests but are they good quality? I don't want to spend over $100 on one unless i know they are worth it. Anyone have one?

Well yes if you are a fan of the movie, they look cool to me.
Also does anyone know a link to the script? as the ones on the site do not work.

Are they worth it? I'd say yes because im a die hard warriors fan and it took me ten years to find a decent replica.
Quality wise: it depends what your going to be doing with your vest. If you want it for mostly for display and occasional wear, then you cant go wrong with the ones availible. From personal experience, Theyre not quite up to handling daily wear and tear. The leather is not as durable as the vests you would get in a biker store. I wore mine daily when i first got it, and the wear began to show.
Ive looked into getting my own custom made one, and believe me, it works out cheaper to purchase a ready made vest from one of the sellers on here. You can pick up a tan leather vest for around $50 and the patches for $40, but its the piping (trim) that puts the cost up. You cant just cut up long strips of leather and start cutting out diamond shapes with a pair of scissors. They need to be press cut out for it to look any good. Add to that the cost of labour, and your talking big bucks for a one off vest. I was quoated £180 (roughly $360) to have one made, and that was without the patches.
If you do decide to purchase one, just note that certain biker groups are not too pleased about you wearing it in public.
Hope that helps.

I would really want one but the problem is we don't have such vests in belgium and its actually pretty expensive for a vest.

Yeah, it's the same in NZ... but it's not the Bikers you worry 'bout down here.Ninth Delegate wrote: If you do decide to purchase one, just note that certain biker groups are not too pleased about you wearing it in public.
But the Baseball Furies? Yeah, I'd get away with that (I'm planning to do so at Halloween). I still may pick up a vest in the future for display, though -- they look top-notch.
