Ok, first things first. Everytime hollywood remakes a movie it SUCKS ASS. It's a waste of time and money and just goes to show that there's NO creativity left in the world of entertainment. Hollywood is just trying to recapture a moment in time that could never happen again under any circumstances. 

What's really going to suck is to see a great film like the warriors get TONS of money thrown at it for a re-make, what people don't know is that the more money you throw at a film, the less CHARACTER it has. 

Low budget filmmaking really brings out the best in people and it becomes apparent when watching a film llike this. Picture "Pink Flamingos" vs "Pecker"

technically it aint a remake in a way, jus the film name is the same and plot, city is different times r different and the other gangs r different.

well man i personally will go see it (or watch on dvd) but i am against it but i will definalty see what it awas like

I'll watch it if it comes out but I'm against it aswell.
Who knows?It probably will turn out as a good thing.  It may make the original more popular

The positive thing might be that people that never seen the original Warriors might see it later...

i agree with you bout the remakes sucks ass bit, and and the fact theres no creativity, but im gna stll give remakes a chance they may make a good one one day (doubt it)

I'm not!! Real gangs are used in this movie apparently, that sure does alter the fifty-fifty ratio.  Good luck Mr. Scott!!!

the  original warriors movie is perfect. i hope it is never remade. the new film will never feel as real as the original

i heard it was nt a remake and nothing is the same even tHough i personnally dont beleive this some site said the movie was supposed to be about the bloods and crips

I don't think the new movie is intended for original Warriors fans. Even though there are a heap of us that love it, there are still a lot of people that haven't seen, or haven't even heard of "The Warriors".

I believe that the new movie is directed at these people. the younger generation, who don't know about the original Warriors. Hoping that they will love the concept, just as we loved the original.

Alright, this "re-make" is something that confuses me because, I'm for it and against it. I'm for it becuase i wanna see if thye follow the book names (yes i read it and it was awesome) but, I'm against it due to the dact that there are some movies that shouldn't be touched like this one.

tony scotts a good director, and it will probably be a good film... but it just doesnt seem worth doing to me.

I'm against it. Its gonna suck....and you know there is gonna be a rapper/singer like tyreese, or ludacris, or someone else. Nothing against them but its hard to view the movie as being real when they are in it. Then your gonna have all these people who are going to go see it and if its anything like the original they are gonna swarm this forum and talk as if they are TRUE Warrior fans. Nothing beats an original. Thats just what i think.
