like on my thread, i played the game first then i knew about the movie. so when i played the game, it was really great though i didn't bother to view the cutscenes and all, so i didn't know the storyline. but when i heard about the movie, it turned out to be better although the game had more features. yeah, i would say the game is great cause it's made by rockstar, probably the best game manufacturer in the world now. maybe the game would have been better if rockstar added what happens after the warriors had their name cleared. is the police still after them? are the rogues ALL wasted? are the other gangs still on their *sses?
eheh sorry for the dumb questions

The film is not ment to follow the movie, The games story is how they got started and the event leading up to the meeting.

Its not just that, its the journey home from the meeting aswell . .

To answer your original question i think the game is very fun, which is what you ask of a game, its interesting to see what happened before the meeting and how the warriors formed and that and i think the game does the film justic in the events after the meeting, some things have been edited to legnthen gameplay and make things more fun but i sort of expected it to be like that.

i liked the game more cause you fight virgil and learn how they started the gang but the downside is  after you make it to the long journey home parts they forget what hapen and it turns into a trainwreck for example they go through the orphans turf they sully acts like nothing ever happend like the warriors never went down there and trashed his car :?

the gamee has good graphics, expands to go back3 months before the movie and it gives you flashback missions to show how each warrior joined up plus it is selling new at your local game outlet for $10

I personally believe the Game is better than the movie, mainly because it has more than just one event and the result. It fleshes out the characters and gangs in the movie you don't get a lot of action from, also the game is very good at capturing the epic feel of the Movie.

The gang's attitudes and actions in the game are closer to Sol Yurick's 1965 novel than the film; if you haven't read the novel, The Warriors were much more brutal on the printed page than on film, and the muggings and such in the game reminded me of that.
