Yeah,he realizes that thers more to life, than the simple realm he lives in. No matter what obstacle Swan has to go through, its better that he leaves and expands his horizons, you know like Kane on Kung Fu. Now that his eyes are opened wider, he feels he can move on to the next stage of his life, no matter what it is.

i think scurvy and adam said it all..so i totally agree with you but i never knew that song was written for the movie ha you learn somthing every day dont you anyway back on topic but that would be understandable because the song does say "somewhere out on that horizon....out behond the neon light...i know theres must somthing better..but theres no where else in sight" that last line might imply that swan isnt sure if he will leave becuase he's saying there nnowhere that he can see

I think he meant he wanted to get outa there...get away from everything...the gang life, Coney, etc.
I can't make it!
You sure?
Yeah, I'm sure.
Good... I'm sick of running from these wimps.

You know it's weird, Swan wanted to get out of Coney, and have a regular life. But then lots of people want to go to Coney, and wish they were in that life. I want to be there with The Warriors, but they dont want any part of it.
