Walter Hill/"Brewster's Millions"

Hello Folks:

I just finished watching the hilarious 80's flick, "Brewster's Millions", with the late greats, Richard Pryor and John Candy. The movie, ofcourse, was directed by Walter Hill. One thing we all know is that Hill uses "connections" in his films. This was evident with all the connections between "The Warriors" and "48 Hrs.". Well in "Brewster's Millions", that trend continued. In the film, the bar called Torchy's is in it (the same bar Eddie Murphy went nuts at in "48 Hrs."), in addition, the girl in "48 Hrs.", who was Bear's girlfriend (Margot Rose) is also in "Brewster's Millions". She plays a bar maid and waitress. Interestingly enough, you have Brad Sanders, who is decked out in almost exactly the same suit Eddie Murphy wore in "48 Hrs.", and looks a lot like Eddie too. His name in "Brewster's Millions" was LUTHER...and the best one of them all, Cropsey The Rogue Lt., appears in the movie as a member of the Papparazzi, look for him arguing and shoving Brewster's photographer in it..lol..just a few connection tidbits I thought I would post, I know we all love connections at this board.
