i use to train for MMA stuff (no i wasnt gonna try to be in ufc or anything, it was hobby stuff)

anyway i also am a brown belt and during that time it was sugested to do tuff man comps and boxing

but it was short lived i didnt like it

6-1 record (i shouldent have lost the one i did)

it was cool, but just not for me...i like to use my feet somone said kick boxing but i never got a chance to get into it, i got to deep into music and went on a tour shortley after...

mma is the bomb 8) brown belt in what?

And i don't box for a club or anything, but i work out on the heavy bag (plus kicks) 8) I probably have some bad technique that i do....but that's why i want to get into boxing or muy thai, but my parents think it would just hurt my head  :( i think i am later going to get into mma though....
how much is the monthly fee that you guys pay to stay at the club? and what does a usually practice look like?

Well yeah you have to prove yourself, and let people know your not a dormat, but im still itchy about street fights. There are a lot of cowards out there who dont know how to box, and pull out a knive or a gun, so be crefull who youre clashing against with.

Huh? The one thing i dont like when i box, is my division trainer always hits me with a blue boxing glove in the face before the match starts. He claims its to warm up my face, but it still gets annoying!!

Biggest load of crap i ever heard..... Street fighting aint training for boxing, maybe if your training to be a thug.
I've heard about descent boxers getting into street fights and getting the crap kicked out of them..
I am a boxer, i once got into a street fight... and being able to box didnt stop the other guy throwing his head and feet at me, i think he even tried to hit me with a brick.
End of the day there is only one placeto learn how to box, in a gym where you know what you are doing.. not in the street, leave that for the scum.

8 wins 0 losses 1 draw

I box at IMB for fun...not for competition, I'm alright at it. I prefer JKD over it because you can use your whole body.

yeah and you have a distinc disadvantage if you are boxing a taller, lankyier guy because of the reach :x that's why i also prefer whole body striking like muy thai over boxing because of the kicks, knees, and elbows.
