diamond pattered trim for a vest?

i bought a replica vest a short while ago and was unhappy with the colour,badly placed seams,material,shape and detail on it...my major gripe was the fit,which was terrible so i guess the only way to remedy that is to make one myslef...i'm quite handy on the old sewing machine so i'd like to make a bespoke fitted slim vest,the only trouble i forsee is the trim,anyone have any idea where i could get myself some or the diamond patterned trim?...thank you
