talk about looking over your shoulder...

Post by emissary »

I was thinking about the meeting and how tough it would be for me to stand toward the front.  You had to trust the guys standing behind you.  What if they were still mad about an old issue.  I know Cyrus set up the rules, but even so, that is taking a leap of faith.  These guys are all fighters, an attack is a possibilty.  Even if you thought it was unlikely, it had to enter your mind.

yea, you kinda got to hope for the best but expect the worst. I know if I was there, I would have definitely kept on my toes because anything could have happened. I mean even with a truce there is always gonna be some "rogue" no pun intended out for blood no matter what. so I'm sure they were all ready if something did pop off

are you talking about Cyrus? or some random gang member? if your talking about Cyrus, then maybe the problem was that the thought never did cross his mind, because you right, it wouldn't be easy to stand in front of a 1,000 gang members. I think that he just so much of a megalo-maniac that he was so certain that his plan would work, that he never even considered an attack. but, if your talking about a random gang member, then i'm not to sure about that, they pobably were just so curious at why somone would want to bring the gangs together, that they figured no one would mess it up. (except for luther that is)

I always thought it was a  mistake by the director to have the different gang members intermingle like that.  Realistically, they would have all stayed tightly clumped together in groups.  Just like in the movie poster.

Yeah, I know what you mean. I never even really thought about it, though, until you mentioned it. I wouldn't trust anybody. I'd probably just hang out in the back, hopefully away from everybody else.

You know.. this thought has pooped in my brain also. I know i would be very attentive, since im one of those persons thats very precaucious, i would stay alert, look behind my shoulder, act normal, not mad dogg anyone though. Because some gang members take that offensive, and get pretty mad quickly. I know i would be alert 100% through the whole metting.. no sucka is going to catch me slepping..

i would hope that my gang wasnt set in the front because you need to keep your gaurd up but i would also hope not to be in the back because then you wouldnt be able to hear anything......how can the guys all the way in the back hear anyway??? cyrus is loud but i dont think he could be that loud.

I would be nervous as hell, thats all I can say. If theres several hundred gang members behind me, I wouldnt be looking at Cyrus, I'd have my back to him watching the other gangs. And yeah, the gangs intermingling was a bit of a mistake I guess, it was a truce, but that didnt mean they had to like each other or talk to each other, they just could'nt kill each other lol

cyrus would have to have a lot of security because if say a saracen trod on a JSB's foot it could be interpreted as an attack which would mean a fight could break out and then alliances would come into it and then people on the other side of the park might think "hey whats going on over there? the riffs have set us up!" and that could escalate into a full scale riot.

unlikely but possible
