well... my amount of posting on here has dropped significantly on this forum in recent months...

... why you may ask... well because i don't like where this forum is headed, the atmosphere on here has become rather crap to be perfectly honest... people aren't even allowed to debate anymore due to this 'flaming' problem... what kind of problem is that???...

i enjoyed this forum at first because it had rules that you could easily adhear (sp?) to... but recently there has been a cut down on anything and everything... and it took the enjoyment out of being here for me... when i used to come on the computer this would be the first place i would go... now i only come here if i have nothing else to do...

the one failing of posters on this site... you're all too damn nice (im not saying that this is a severe problem for everyone else... but i for one can't deal with it)... i've met some great people on here but when it comes down to it... there are one or two on here who i don't like, and who im not going to name... who really get on my nerves...

its hard for me to try and find the words i mean when i think about the recent failings on this forum (thats why the paragraphs above read like crap)...

i leave for college in two days so i might come on before then but after that, i dont know when or if i'll ever be back on... you may see me around sometime, but not much... infact i doubt anyone will miss me anyway...

one thing though... don't let the forum die... the warriors will never die and people need a place to come and talk about it... its one of the best fims ever...

i know what you mean journey. most of the time i try to ignore the stuff that puts me off this place, but sooner or later i think i'm gonna crack and i'll probably lose it on a few people like i have in the past.

i hope you change your mind and decide to stay, otherwise we'll be losing an asset to the forum.

It will be sad to see you go, but like Toon said, we have had awesome posters who take off for a while and well it's just not the same, some of them still post one or two posts, but at least they keep comming back. Toon and I started almost at the same time, and man it was cool back then, am I right Toon? But I hang around because some of my old friends are still here, I stay for them and the movie, anyone else it's just extra!

Ive been thinking of quitting too. A lot its going down in my personal life, and felling depressed somehow.
I think the forum was better way back in the old days.. you know when chumps like me were complaining about karma. I was sad when people gave - karma, but it was still pretty fun. Dont get me wrong its still fun here, but there is like a 60/ out of 100 chance i might quit too. I relly hope things work out for me..

I hope this crashing curve gets better. I agree that i'm currently only here when I have little else to do, as sad as that sounds it is a fact - there really are great posters here, but some of them are starting to get agitated at the way this place has been run of late.
What will be left when the old members are tired?

sorry to hear your leaving journey, but sometimes enough is enough.
i haven't been around much to notice any of the madness but i guess people are getting fed up.


what made this site cool?
the reason is because it was centered around the warriors.  if it had anything to do with the warriors, it could be discussed here with other people who are also fans of the film.  but now this site is about everything else under the sun....oh yeah and then there the warriors, basically the film has taken back seat even though that the reason the site was created.   


so why is this site going downhill?
its going downhill because it has an off topic/general/book/movie/tv/sports sections....actually any section that doesn't have to do with the warriors.  the downfall of most fan sites is when they decide to have these types of off topic sections, it breeds all kinds of stupidity and causes unneeded anomosity between members who would otherwise be friends.


what can the admin/mods do to solve this spiral of doom?
seriously, get rid of all the sections that have nothing to do with the warriors.  its kind of extreme but extreme times call for extreme measures.  i made this suggestion before and it was ignored, now look at the state of this site?  we got the vets leaving and wanting nothing to do with this site.....hmmm, makes you wonder why that is?  perhaps because the site they loved has turned into a blog space for anything BUT the warriors.   


what can we as members do to make the site better?
its simple, stop posting stuff that has nothing to do with the warriors. 
lead by example, even if you're itching to tell somone a funny story about what happened to you, this isn't the place for it.  if you have steady friends here, you can just PM then your story, you don't have to post it here, this isn't your personal blog.  i know that seems harsh but thats the first step to take if you want things to get better here.

anyway thats my two cents for what its worth.

this IS NOT myspace, if you want to get to know each other, do it there.  this is a site dedicated to all things pretaining to the warriors, not whatever interests you so you can chit chat like its your personal getting-to-know-you forum.  again, there are many sites for getting to know people, but this site is about getting to know the warriors.

and this topic wouldn't be here.

i honestly can't remember the last good post i've read here that was about the warriors?  why would anyone bother reading 300+ posts in a day, only to find 1 post that has something to do the warriors?

its stupid of me, but i keep coming back here thinking its going to get better, but it seems its only getting worse.

the reason nobody posts about the warriors is that theres hardly anything else to discuss really. every time someone makes a topic on the warriors it gets locked because another one already exists.

Though there is the odd topic that nobodys thought of yet, eventually theres gonna be no new ideas left, and then there will be no point of the forum if we get rid of the interests section.
