Re: Cast Autographs
It was during the Q&A session that I met Tantive7 (actually I grabbed his arm with excitement when he told the cast that he was involved with this website). Then we were both on line (I think we skipped several people!) and we started to complain about the fact that they were charging per autograph (Tantive was out of luck as he didn't have any $$$) and then that there were only 15 minutes left before the actors closed up shop! If you guys could see the line--Tantive and I just looked at each other and thought "there's no way that we're here this late and not get autographs or pictures!". Yeah, the NYPD were definitely a pain and speaking of which, the day I got my poster back from the shop after work, I couldn't fit through the turnstile in the trainstation and it just happened to be one of those trainstations that are no longer manned by a transit person so there was cop there and I told him that I'm going to have to go through the door.
Since they check packages now and this was a huge package packed in cardboard, the cop then tells me to swipe my metrocard through the turnstile and then go through the door and he'll hold on to my package as I did that. I raised an eyebrow at him and told him that he'd better not go anywhere with that. After I swiped my card and went back to the cop to get my poster he asked me what was in it.
Cop: So whattaya have in here?
Me: Ever heard of the movie The Warriors?
Cop: The gang from Coney Island?
Me: Yeah. (I then went on and explained the whole Net Flix thing).
Cop: One of my other cop buddies has a little poster of the Warriors in his locker.
Me: Cool cop buddy you have.
Cop: They were vests without shirts. They look gay.
Me: Gay? Who? Your cop buddy? (sarcastic)
Cop: Noooooo the Warriors.
Me: Ah, that's just 'cause you ain't with it man, ya dig? Have a g'nite.

CandyStoreGirl

That Q&A was crazy and Dark, you have to tell them that..and she was right,I had no money for autographs, but I had my camera
It feels like yesterday, when I look back at those Pictures,
Who do you think were the biggest Pains,CSG??
The NetFlix people??

The Security in The park???

The NYPD???

OR ME??

If it were anyone else from this website, they would have done, the same thing..
Jumping the Steel Gate, was the highlight,of it all for me,for the simple fact, that the area where The cast was is off limits..That rush you get, when you know, you are about to do something wrong, was intense, and the funny part was as security was stopping everyone else,
I ran like if it was The Furies Chasing me..

And to get chased was all worth it..cause I waited too long, and I will not be denied as a fan..
I seen this movie enough time to know how to??,and when to RUN,at the precise MOMENT!!!

I could imagine Mike doing this to the NYPD

it was overall such a wonderful experiance,to see the movie in Coney Island.. as a fan it was undescribeable.. And to ditch work, that day was worth it.. CSG I hope that we all hook up with Jaime in November, for another fun adventure..
HEY?? where was Marlboro and Latem at that night??
I did not see you guys??
The lesson learned here was:
Never underestimate the determination of a Hardcore Warriors Fan!!

Re: Cast Autographs
T7, from the bottom of my Warrior lovin' heart, I thank you so much! I feel almost as if I were there myself! I'm defN8ly makin' it next time (praying there'll be a next time). You mentioned something about '09. Think they'll do it again for a reunion? I sure hope so.
And my goodness, Roger Hill and Bryan Tyler are lookin' gooooooood, boppers!

Re: Cast Autographs
I can only say this:
The Security in the Park - I don't even remember seeing them
The Netflix Folks - I was disappointed when the Orphans leader's line was muted ("You see what you get...")
The NYPD - most definitely the worst of them all. Give them authority and they think they rule all
Tantive7 - after reading your story, you definitely pulled an Ajax and went out swingin'! ;)

T7 I new your story would be worth the wait.
Thanks for sharing it. Wish I could have been there to see you work.
Tcm, can't wait to see your pics and hear what happens at the chiller. Live real close to you so your defently takin a trip to see it. Me, can't afford it, can't really take time off, hoping someday they'll be closer or maybe in 09? (Check out my one liner at the bottom of my post, at a loss of whats its really called
know I can't claim the number #1 fan so I picked #2)
.
How in God's name can you talk about quiting this place when theres fun info like this happening

Re: Cast Autographs
Haha, too funny man. It IS quite possible that I am the world's number 1 Orphans fan. I am not sure if that is a good thing or not. lol
Yeah, it is going to cost me a LOT of dough in the end, and it is going to hurt me for a month or two, but it will be worth it. Being a HUGE fan of horror films, there are a lot of other guests I am looking forward to seeing as well. I am definitely going to try and get some decent pics.

Re: Cast Autographs
If anyone wants to knpw what i look like, iam the guy in the gray shirt behind candy store girl and micheal beck lol. what a small world. I fealt in embarrassed because David Harris signed my poster right after debourogh and i had no more money. So they both paid for me. I thanked them but it was still embarrassing lol. Next time I should bring a whole load of cash lol.
