wat will the weapons be like guns or like in the cult classic movie where they use anything they get there hands on since now a days gangs in los angeles have aks so one round from that will wipe out an entire clique so post ur thoughts

well what else can they make it besides guns? ::) But yeah I would have said a gang like the punks ( vs 6 would have wiped out the warriors too. But they made it seem unrealistic which is exactly what they can do in the remake. :badgrin:

I just have a bad feeling this movie will result in a 50 Cent style Thug shoot-em up. Which will be absolutely horrible. :\

Hopefully the writer can find a way to maintain the close quarters combat.

the one thing i luved about the orignal was the story and the combat but like all remakes its gonna to suck since no knives since they replace with handguns maybe and bats with shotguns sigh

It'll be guns.  IF the movie is going to be like what we think it is, all gangster and all that then theres sure to be "gats", "drive Bys".  Im sure that there will be some melle weoponds though.  Just like in every other action movie.

I actually met a Blood member before (about a month ago). We got into a conversation, and he revealed something I did not know: according to him, the bloods prefer to melee fight rather than shoot at each other. He showed me a video clip online of the bloods and the crips fighting hand-to-hand, so MAYBE that's how it will be in the movie.

i live in LA, and though im not in a gang, i do live near gang populated areas, and i can tell you that though most gangs do have guns, they really are rarely used. in gangs, guns are mainly used for robbery and when being severely outnumbered by a rival gang in a fight. other than that, guns are usually kept packed away and weapons of choice are mainly things like bats, chains, and knives. so if the new movie does stay true to how gangs really are, guns shouldnt be too much of a problem. they might even make it like the original where guns only show up a few times.

Guns might actually be good, if you think about it. Because it would make the warriors look even more bad a$$ if they beat the crap out of a gang that has gunns. Just a thought.

i don't really thnk they will have guns in it cause alot of remakes have stayed closely to the older film. so the new warriors coulb be ok.

If they are having weapons in the new movie, I think it will be like guns of different types, probably knifes and other stuff. But if the movie gets like a 50-cent style I ain't gonna watch it because I don't like that style. But let's just see what happends!
