The Warriors - digitally remastered
Paramount plans to revive the one and only real Warriors Movie, by re-editing the Picture.
It is planned, to bring the Movie back to the cinemas, prior th the launch of Warriors 2006, similar to the first Star Wars Movies, that came prior th the new trilogy.
While the Movies image quality and sound effects will be improved, additional previously deleted scenes will be added for a total movie lenght of 107 minutes.
A DVD of the remastered Movie including Making of's and interviews with the cast will also be released.

Re: The Warriors - digitally remastered
I had a search for this earlier and what a surprise, absolutely nothing found. I cant see paramount doing anything like this anytime soon. Its been less than a year since they released the ultimate directors cut and are still making money from this. Who will go and buy it if they think a newer dvd is just around the corner? The warriors cinema release in 79 was never a big money maker for them first time around. Maybe im getting sceptical in my old age but personally i cant see this happenning.

I think it would be a pretty good money maker if they put it out as a midnight movie, they do it with tons of cult flix and they do pretty well.

Re: The Warriors - digitally remastered
This is the same guy who was giving us the info on the remake so I'm not sure about this one. It's got to be tied up in music rights issues. Although it would be a good idiea. They could pull a Rocky Horror and show it at a later time.NewYorkSlayer wrote: Paramount plans to revive the one and only real Warriors Movie, by re-editing the Picture.

Re: The Warriors - digitally remastered
I agree with StickWarrior. This is the same guy that attempted to pass off obviously fake info about the new movie as real, then posted a very badly photoshopped poster that he expected us to believe. The chances that this is real is incredibly slim.

Also, NewYorkSlayer, for god's sake stop trying to fool everyone with this stuff. Try actually hanging around these forums more and you'll see that most people are smart enough to realize that you are doing nothing but making stuff up.
