The original vest is BLACK!!!!! Woah! I thought they were brown and maybe highlighted a bit with an airbrush but the whole vest is painted! He adds the patches and the paint and charges $200!!! Nice little business!!!!!!!

This is where he's getting the vests. All he ever sells is the Coney vest on Ebay. If you look closely at the black vest you can tell. The brand name is apparent too.

Bottom line if you look at ALL of the auctions he won for vests, he paid between $9.99 and $26.99 for these vests. One or more of them used second hand. All I'm saying is he's making a HELL of a profit. And his vests are not all the same he has sold 4 button vests as well as 5 button vests meaning they are not the same. he is buying cheap-ass, sometimes used second hand leather vests for next to nothing on Ebay, putting the patches on and painting them. Airbrushing whatever. You don't think they're painted at all? How do you think he achieves the trim with the diamonds????

These vests he won off Ebay with the exception of maybe one are HARDLY vintage 70's vests. And guess what? I don't see no damn gold lining on the one he is currently selling. I see "Barney's Leather" and they are selling for $14.99 right now....

well, i do believe the trim being painted. thats actually a given....although i failed to see that before ](*,) but i just want you to explain the cut on the vest. they're all different. it doesnt look like he re-cuts them. i think you may be loosley right. maybe he has a deal with these sellers to provide him with many black vests so he can dye them, and paint on the trim. im guessing the ones he frequently buys on ebay are just for his own interest. i bet he sells things offline too, maybe at a shop in coney? anyway, you could be right, but im gonna need some confirmation. and if he is doing just as you said....he's a frikkin genious!

easy guys dont get all excited. :lol:yeah the vest run between 10 and 40.00 the patch sets are 50.00 dollars each.also the dye and the time it takes to make one vest at a time,no 2 vest are the same.i prefer to make them on vintage vest being the original is vintage,but they are harder to comebuy. either way each vest cost between 75 - 100.00 to make plus my labor. like i said my vests are crafted by hand one at a time by me.one of a kind originals.  :badgrin: im not telling anybody to by my vest.there are other sellers to buy from.
