what happen to the vest on this site in costumes (Rembrants)

i remember seeing a warriors vest on this site .the vest was supposed to be rembrants.if i remember clearly the warbird did not have the black border on it.anybody know what ever happen to this vest,it would be worth a nice penny if it really was rembrants.

The guy who owned the vest asked me to remove the photo as he wanted to use it on his own site but I've not seen it since. I would imagine it is worth a mint. How much would you pay for an original vest - as worn by Rembrandt

nahh, it was the real vest.
the patches had been removed.

that was a set of patches from my buddy, warriorcleon on ebay.
and his patches are "supposedly" made from an original set.
again, "supposedly"

i remember something, a while back when i was on the hunt for a real vest, about all the patches, being removed, for some reason, or another.

and this is kinda funny!
i remeber an old episode of taxi, and there was a scene a party, and tom hanks, was a guest star, and was wearing a "warriors" vest, without the patches.

i'm guessin most of em, went back into movie, or tv wardrobe.
that would be something to look for, warriors vests, in other movies, or old tv shows.

if it is true about the patches being removed.i would say the original vest would not be worth much with out them.your buddys patches are close to the orig. with the black border and a little bigger they be close to a perfect match.unless the ones with no patches were left over from stunt doubles,and thats how tom hanks got his.i cant see them removing the patches.since i have been making my vest i have used 3 different patches all very close to the orig never exact.

Thats the picture of the vest. To me I like the patch without the black border around it. Makes it look better.

I never really noticed it but the diamond trim is more like "X's" than just diamonds.  I dunno how to explain it.
