Re: work experience
I worked at a heavy plant company and got to drive a mini digger, and best of all, a massive crane. It was scary climbing up there as it must have been over 100m tall and they told me if I thought I was going to fall, clip myself on with the safety harness. So if I slipped, I would have fallen down. It was quite an experience! The rest of the time I think I was filing papers and drawing site maps on the computer.

Re: work experience
Sounds good, War Chief. Mine wasn't so exciting! I was a 'skivvy' at this designer spectacle manufacturers for two weeks. I had to polish the frames (coz nobody liked doing it), sweep up for what seemed like forever and make the tea (of course!). I got offered a job at the end of it though, and made money in the school holidays...
Nowadays I work in CAD, producing floor plans for mainly fire evac's and have been for about 8 years now. It's all very exciting stuff... ahem. :doubt:

Re: work experience
My work experience was at BHS.
That is all I wish to say on the subject.

Re: work experience
It seems work experience for school kids has done nothing to inspire them! They should do work experience in chocolate factories, music shops (like Bobo), theme parks ....
haha. I guess it is a reality check ... work is generally boring.

I was supposed to work at a shell garage for 2 weeks but got fired after 2 hours for smoking by the petrol pumps.
