Atari Flashback 2.0

Post by emissary »

This is a great system.  I am curious about using old atari cartidges with it.  Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't know personally, but you can check out www.gamewinners.com. It's a cheat code site that also has strategies, news, and tech information on even the most obscure games and gaming systems. I think it could help you.

Unfortunately, the Atari Flashback 2.0 has no cartridge slot, so you're stuck with the 40 games that are programmed into it.

Here is a link to the instruction manual:

http://www.atari.com/us/images/games/FB ... l/main.htm

These are the games it comes with:

Asteroids
Asteroids Deluxe
Missile Command
Centipede
Space Duel
Lunar Lander
Pong
Millipede
Battlezone
Adventure
Adventure 2
Haunted House
Return To Haunted House
Secret Quest
Wizard
3d Tic Tac Toe
Aquaventure
Combat
Combat 2
Climber
Dodge Em
Fatal Run
Frog Pond
Hangman
Human Cannonball
River Raid
Off The Wall
Maze Craze
Pitfall
Radar Lock
Outlaw
Checkers
Chess
Save Mary
Space War
Yar's Revenge
Yar's Return
Caverns Of Mars
Quadrun
Saboteur

OOOPS, sorry Emmisery, after my previous long winded post I realized you already had the system & were looking for a way to play old carts on it, not asking if you were able to out of the box.

Me thinks I can help you. Be warned though that this will void the warranty, but for what the system cost it's not that bad:

Yeah, apparently, it's possible, you just have to do a lot more work than I thought.  So I'm just gonna stick with Combat.  Which can be the most fun time when playing against others.  Combat has that element when you get shot and spun, then the instant you stop spinning, you're shot again, again, again.  Oh, and no pause, so when the wife says, "come here, look at this..." :(good luck, because that only happens when you've got a great score going)
