Best part of the movie for me, wierd and still scary, no matter how many times you see it. Totally unhinged. At exactly this point The Warriors knew they were in some serious sh!t, even compared to what they'd been through. Favourite moments, anyone?? .... I know, I know, so many to choose from ....
It's just the greatest Movie ever made ... end of story.

I like the very start when they enter the train and the part with the Punks leader following Swan.

probably the beginning when they meet up in the grave yard after fleeing from the gang compund where cyrus was shot, the darkness of the grave yard really sets the mood for the adventure thats about to begin me thinks,

the one thing that bugged me about the movie is the ending on the beach which i thought was somewhat anticlimatic, i thought it would have been better if all the gangs had of meeted up on the beach and had a mass free for all with the cops on the beach similar to enter the dragon (bruce lee) but with out the martial arts combat.
still the ending more than makes up for it when you see them walk down the beach and the credits roll and joe walsh's in the city kicks in, its a real feel good moment!

I don't think that could have been worked out that way. First and formost-the cops in their own precinct weren't looking for them.
chances are NO one except the Rouges-and Riffs were looking for them-so there would be no reason for police to be on the beach at 0 dark thirty in the morning.
They didn't even know the Warriors were being chased---they only responded to them at all when they ran into them wearing colors in the subway--I didn't get the feeling the police were ever actually looking for them---they were just looking to STOP any gang activity wherever they found it. but that is only my own thoughts on it.

My favorite part would be when they are fighting the Furies and one of the Furies was just standing there minding his own business and Ajax just strikes him down. I know it's a minor part, but it gets me laughing.

a couple different parts, the deleted beginning, when they first get on the train, at the beginning and the music starts, when they punch through the fence at the park, when they outrun the turnbulls and hop turnstiles, (was the scene on the trailer, when i was a kid that first caught my attenion!) basically all of it till they get seperated. i like it when they are all still together. and of course the fury chase, and fight. and the bathroom brawl!

My first will always be when Cochise punches the knife-wielding Lizzie in the face, just before the...uh...tougher looking one takes a chair to the head.

But Ajax's face when the lady cop cuffs him is hilarious, like it takes him a second to realize what's happening, then he tries to swing at her with one arm, dragging the bench behind him. I'm still amazed he was able to take out a cop with one free arm.
Despite all my rage, I am still just a rat in a cage...
