Another great gangster film that usually doesn't get the attention it deserves is A Bronx Tale. (The race track scene is 10 mins away from me
) Constentien was also pretty good but it's one of those movies you need to see again to get the full effect.

We're going in there like everybody else nine guys no weapons

Here's some of my faves, besides The Warriors....
Dirty Mary Crazy Larry
Road To Salina
Death Race 2000
Angels With Dirty Faces
Superman 1, 2, & 4
Rock and Roll High School
Detroit Rock City (I don't like the crude language tho')
Cocapabana (Manilow)
Cannonball
Lords of Flatbush
Vanishing Point
Star Wars
The Empire Strikes Back
Taking of Pelham 1-2-3
Freebee and the Bean
Star Crash
Casablanca
Race With The Devil
...and so many more!
I am also a huge Godzilla fan and have literally every single film he's ever made, original series and beyond. (I still need the new one though where he fights all the old monsters!) I'm also a big Gamera fan, the newer Gamera films are unbelievable.
I don't like too many newer films, besides "Fat Albert" the last film I saw in a theater was Star Wars 2. But I will freely admit...I loved "Titanic!"

Taking of Pelham 1-2-3 is another great 70s NYC movie. I was also lucky enough to catch that at the Film Forum a few years back. Glad to see it was mentioned in the LOOK article.

Yeah that was very cool to see 123 mentioned, that is such a great gritty 70's NYC movie. I want to dig out that 110th street movie actually, great picture from the movie showing the old street signs (I'm actually a big fan of old street signs and love seeing the few remaining still up around town).

And one more fact about Lee Van Cleef..
This is a quote that you should read from the Villian himself.

"I believe in showing real violence, not toy violence," Mr. Van Cleef said in a 1970 interview. "Real violence turns you off because you know it's not the thing to do. if you show violence realistic enough, people don't want to do it."

A Truly Unique Character.."The Best of the Bad" Often imitated, never duplicated..

"For a Few Dollars More" and "The Good,The Bad,And the Ugly"

Tremors?, I do, and I still watch it whenever it comes on too!!! But only the original, none of the sequels did much for me. LOL
