Re: Lucky number sleven
I have seen previews for it and it looks like a film that may interest me, though I really only like Horror films, Lucky Number Slevin doesn't look too bad. I think I am beginning to get into the Action films after seeing "Lord of War" which in my opinion, is an action film but according to IMBD, it's Crime / Drama/ Thriller. Has "Lucky Number Slevin" come out on DVD and VHS yet? If so, I think I will rent it but I don't keep all updated on when films come out and I am too cheap to go the theatre to see any movies unless I am getting a drive and someone else is paying for me. But anyways, I am going totally going off topic here. I will hopefully get around to watching it sometime soon.

No it hasn't been released on dvd yet-it is just making its first rounds in the big screen theaters.
It may well be a release by x-mas though, wouldn't surprise me any.

Re: Lucky number sleven
Theres' usually a six-month gap between theatre and dvd releases. For movies that did horribly it's usually a 3 or four month thing.

Re: Lucky number sleven
I think they have generally cut that back to about 4 months trying to capitalize on the theater buzz, and keep the income revenues up, while people are still talking about it.
I say that because most of the Oscar buzzed movies were released in Oct-Dec, and were out on dvd in Feb/March/april. Like Jarhead, Memoirs of a Geisha, Capote, History of Violence, Brokeback Mountain, Chronicles of Narnia. Takes about 6 months for it to get to television now. I think the $$ rules, and as long as it is fresh in people's minds, they are trying to make the most of it-----Plus, on some of the earlier released movies that went dvd like Crash, now they are re-releasing a newer version with more extras, cause they are cashing in on the Best Picture attention.
