Hi all. It is strange to see so many people who feel the same way about the Movie as I do.
My Name is Master Payne. I saw the movie when it came out in 1979 and loved it, it is my all time fav. I loved it so much I named my Kung Fu school after it.
I am from Toronto but I left the city for a better life in the country. I now live on Vancouver Island where I run a Kung Fu club. 8)

its been nearly a week since i saw the film and i kinda fell in love! ive attempted to play the game, and i totally love the soundtrack!

Hey hey hey, it's Mezzy aka Mestizo69..long time no speak with y'all..I've been a member for quite some time now..I'm the distant nephew of James Remar aka Ajax from the C.I. Warriors..I've seen the film too many times to count..It's in my top 5 of all time..I saw it the year it came out on the big screen with my other relative in law, Rusty,who happens to be childhood friends of James from their home town of Boston Ma..The week after the films release James visited our home in east side Oakland Ca and stayed over for a few days..He personally gave me an original one-sheet of the film..He also had B&W 8 1/2 by 11 photos of himself from the film,but he gave those to other members of the family..He gave a white T-shirt with the skull and wings logo on it to Rusty..which later on was given to some random chick that Rusty was dating..SOB!!!.

I was 10 years old when i met James..We had an army dufflebag that was stuffed and hanging from the ceiling in the living room of our home,it was a punching bag..When i first met James he was taking some aggression out on it in his true 'Ajax' fashion..As a little kid in awe,i just sat and watched for awhile..My first ever words to him were 'Show me how you punched them in The Warriors'..lol,too funny huh?..Anyhow,after that i did'nt connect with Remar again til 1989 when by coincidence we both happend to be working on Gus Van Sant's 'Drugstore Cowboy'(Matt Dillon,Heather Graham,etc)..Thats when i decided to have my One-sheet autographed by him..It says in these exact words 'To My Bro Tito(my childhood knickname), All my love for my real friend!, Love James Remar "Ajax","C.I. Warriors"..The poster is framed on my wall, displayed 10 feet away from me as i speak in my new Las Vegas home.

I now and then talk to James,he really brow beats me alot because he thinks of me as a lil tike still and he only wants me to be successful and not wasting away my time and life..which i occasionally have..It's all good though..Things are picking up for me,slowly but surely..Anyhow,I just thought i'd share that with all you die-hards..Thanks much,Stay up..Stay strong..Best..Back 2 Coney,
