Darn I missed it, but I'm sure it'll be back. Gotta check The Voice more often. Seeing what old movies are playing and what bands are coming around are the only things that communist rag is good for LOL. (I can never resist a shot at The Voice.)

Hey this post makes me a Warrior whoo hoo :)
Big Cyrus. He was gonna run the whole city...what crap that was.

In NYC in the last few years, Warriors has played, in a sparkling new print, at Film Forum, the Sunshine, American Museum of the Moving Image, and for a rather long engagement at Two Boots Pioneer. Better check that 'rag' a little more often, Steven.

You're right lol. I also want to get to the Moving Image museum in general because I've never been there, and me being such a fan of moving images lol.

Can't believe that the UK guy thought the Warriors was a film no one knows about. Must go to church and bops with the Cub Scouts :P

I grew up watching the Warriors on tape with buddies in the UK.

It's a cult classic. Like watching the Evil Deads stoned, it's a big part of youth culture.

And it wasn't that long ago.

Probably the group Pop Will Eat Itself will have escaped you as well being young, I reckon. They had a hit will a sample from The Warriors. It's called 'Can U Dig It'.
