i think i figured out who luther calls! *NEW GUESS*

not sure if this has been posted since i havnt found it in the forum yet, but i think i finally peiced together who luther talks to on the phone. up until now, the two main guesses have been a riff, or maybe his girlfriend. i figured neither of these can be true because A. luther tells the caller about the death of cyrus, which a riff would already know. and B. it cant be afriend or girlfriend because its obviously someone luther cant trust enough to tell the truth to about killing cyrus. but whoever this person is, he/she gives luther info, like about the furies dropping the ball, and luther gives him/her info, like when he says cyrus had an "accident". so my best guess is that luther is talking to the radio dj. which makes sence because this way he can keep checking on the progress of the warriors and make sure that everyone keeps thinking it was the warriors, and not the rogues who killed cyrus.

That is a very well thought out guess. And rings as true as some of the others. Personally,I don't think he was talking to the same person both times. The first time I think he was talking to his youth worker. Or someone like a parole officer, someone he needed to call and check in with on a regular basis. It would just fit Luther to call someone who could get him locked up after he shoots someone. The second time he's on the phone I think it's with the D.J. Just my thinking after many viewings of the movie.

That's about as logical as anything.  Obviously people are calling her with info and for sure some called in for info that was too obvious to put on the air like where were the Warriors last sen and such.

I don't think he was talking to the DJ, he knew what was happening because he was listening to the radio or his informer was listening to it and informing him. It is more likely it was a crooked cop.

but then again, if it was a crooked cop, why was cropsey scared about getting picked up? wouldnt the crooked cop (or cops) keep the rogues updated as to where the main concentration of cops are in the city so the rogues can avoid them?

woah, ease up vermin76. i think snow4 just meant that there were crooked cops in the game so it would be plausable that there were crooked cops in the movie to.
