Yeah, there were a couple items in the trailer you won't readily see, or see at all, in the movie.

As a Hot Wheels geek, I must remind you that Hot Wheels now owns Matchbox.

Yes they do LOL!

Alas but I am really an old-school Matchbox geek, (showing age again) early Superfasts and late regular wheels are my thing. Had early Hot Wheels as a kid though, amazing cars. It's amazing how much the old Hot Wheels go for!

Given the trend for years now of diecasts of movie vehicles, wouldn't it be cool if Johnny Lightning did a version of the Rogue's car and the AC's schoolbus!

another thing about the trailer, the scene towards the end, furies scene, the different dude that's twirling the bat. (not the dude ajax whipps!) slow it down and look on the ground to the right of the dude twirling the bat, you can see cowboy on the ground! it actually looks like he's laying on top of a fury!! and i mean slow it down alot! it's real hard to see.

Good catch...Cowboy is definitely atop a Fury. I think it also interesting when they show the Furies running down the street you hear cleat sounds. These are probably overdubbed but could be real.

I was 9 years old in 1979 when I first seen the trailer on tv that summer when the movie was advertised and it was so awesome to see that trailer that summer! They pulled the movie after only a month or two at the local theaters and drive-ins in my neighborhood due to the gang violence that occurred and I never got to see the movie until I was around 16 and that was on TNT. I just ran into it around 12 at night one night and almost pooed my pants...it was awesome to watch for the first time and I just happened to catch it at the beginning when they are talking under the Wonder Wheel.

The trailer does have extra footage that is not in the movie. I would love to get my hands on all the footage that was shot during the making of the movie and be able to sift through it myself....ummmm that would be nice  ;)
