Wes Anderson

I like his movies, not only is he a fellow Texan, but he is a good director as well. My favorite movie of his has to be Rushmore.

I am a huge Wes Anderson fan.  Introduced to him by my sister-in-law way back in 1996 with Bottle Rocket.  I agree Lions, Rushmore is his best.  One of Bill Murray's best roles.

I also think Rushmore is his best, with Life Aquatic following a close second.

But I'll be honest, I think he's killing the modern "indie" comedy, where everyone has to be quirky, and the pace of almost all future indie comedies is being set by him.

And its also kinda funny how the Criterion Collection just automatically puts his movies up right away, he gets so much special treatment.
