you wanna take a long good look at the bay city rollers,eminem,fightstar,son of dork,him,my chemical romance,metallica,velvet revolver,korn,slipknot and kings of leon.

and to those that say the darkness are overrated i want you to realize this.when you hear reports on the darkness its not all rave reports of people giving them 5 star summeries you,ll find the darkness are the presses favourite put down band.so in future look more closely and you,ll see they arent an overrated band but a band that is always a subject for a lot of piss taking.

I think that any band can be overrated depending on the people you talk to, but lately I'd have to say that Green Day is pretty overrated. I'm not saying that they're bad, but there's just so many people who say that they're the greatest band ever without knowing a whole lot about them. I don't listen to them myself, but a lot of people I've seen only talk about a few of their songs over and over again and make judgments on that.

I would have to agree with 50 Cent & Eminem being overrated. They both suck, and they influence young people to act like a gangster, just by putting their hat to the side. I understand that Eminem is retiring, and it's about time. But 50 Cent should be looking in the same direction, because he is not getting any better, he is just becoming at lot worse, and making himself a lot of haters. And I am sure that he doesn't need any more money!!

I don't think U2 is really overrated, they've just managed to stand the test of time.  I think it's really amazing that they've been able to remain so popular for so long, not many bands can do that now. I think overratted bands are the ones that try to hang on well past their popularity.
