You know, this made me realize something I hadn't thought of before. I know the Warriors are a gang and that they are supposed to have an implied "criminal" philosophy. But I never saw them as guys that would rob or hurt someone who wasn't trying to hurt them. A prequel would have to show them up to no good. Does this make any sense?

i think that if they were shown as a criminal gang, it would ruin any audience sympathy for them.

With Cleon being my favorite warrior, I was quite sad to see him go so early, but the game gives you a better look at him. And I plan on getting the Cleon action figure, which I may or may not sacrifice some boppers too. 8)

Maybe they could have given Swan Cleon's headpeice as a sign of being sorry. 8)

I think that Cleon died at the right time. He was a good character, but if he was on screen for a longer period of time then his death would be even more upsetting and it would be easy to resent Swan for replacing him.

As for a prequel, putting the game aside, I think that Emissary and Warriorchick are right about how it would change how people thought of the Warriors. If they were shown as a gang who went around stealing and fighting only for fun then people just wouldn't care if they died or if they were arrested. Cleon's death was sad because he didn't do anything to deserve it. If he was shown as being a criminal then it just wouldn't be the same.

I dont understand why Swan is warchief. After all, Vermin was second to join (according to the game) But Swan does make a good leader.
But i do agree that Cleon did die in the movie. Its like "Hey cool, There's a character there. he seems pretty coo...shit he died! :( " Catch my drift?

Try getting a head peice from a corpse surrounded by one of the biggest gangs in the city that is doing anything and everything to kill you. Tis all i have to say about that.

I know right. It's like betting the superbowl based on a simulated game that you set up on XBOX. Ridiculous. (the high hat leader)...oh brother.
