Post by BTW A.K.A the killer household appliance »

HEY! i cant believe i missed this topic, i've only seen 12 episodes, dad's renting them from amozon.co.uk

i have seen-

deaths head revisited
the grave
the last rites of jeff myrtlebank
the passerby
long distance call
i sing the body electric
the lonely
probe 7 over and out
judgement night
a quality of mercy
the obsolete man
the purple testament

the best of the lot have got to be the lonely, the purple testament and judgement night(especially judgement night :) )

unfortunetly i haven't seen too many season 1 episodes but if possible can anyone tell me the best ones?

There's just SO many good episodes. I like the one where the guys working on an out-of-the-atmosphere vehicle for the government steal it with their families cause the planets going to blow and at the end they say where they're going- Earth. All the while you thought it WAS Earth!

The only one I've seen is The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street. We read the screenplay in lit class and watched the dvd (it was the only good think that dingbat ever showed us!) I really liked it and want to see more.

Was called The Invaders with Samatha's mom (on the Bewitched show). Special effects were pretty bad (early 60s) but I really liked it to. ;)

You really should check out the remake they did for the new Twilight Zone that was on a few years ago (with Forest Whitaker as the host).

It wasn't bad as far as remakes go. It was pretty much the same , except the aliens were replaced by the government doing a test to see how an average American neighborhood would react to a possible terrorist attack. The family on the block that was blamed were Middle Eastern.

Ah, my lit teacher made us write an essay about how to not panic in event of a terorist attack after we watched it, that's how she got the idea probably...I really need to see more episodes, but I don't have the scifi channel....it's on upn sometimes, don't know if it's the remake or not...oh well, I'll find out when I watch it!
