Yeah this is only one of my favorite movies ever.
Gotta love when Nobus neck explodes.

I even managed to get the song that plays at the end of the movie, you would have no idea how long it took me to find it (It wasn't on the soundtrack)
But overall, I love this movie.

And a question that always got to me.
What would you do in a situation like that?

i love this film, i have been reading the BR manga lately(its pretty messed up). BR 2 is sentimental japenese crap with to many plot holes and not enough characer devlopment.

yeah same here, i was just flicking through channels at 2am and it was on the Sci-fi channel. went out and bought it the next day

i bought BR2 about a year ago, aswell

Hooray for the SEARCH option!

I finally saw the movie, and although you don't feel as sorry for the kids as you do with the book, it was blast. I'm still not sure whether I like the idea of Shogo and Kazuo being "transfers" or having them already be in the class is better.

I bought it in a two-pack with BRII, and although the first half may rank among the annals of craptacular film history, I thought the second half (basically being one giant fight) was okay. The ending was kinda......I mean, they went out all Butch Cassidy and Sundance Kid but they made it? Anyways, with an iffy ending like BRII had, the only way they can rectify that is to make BRIII and have this crazy civil war occupy the entire film.

Oh and why did the instructor for the seocind movie have a neck-thingie on? By choice?
