Looking forward to the new film?
well i dont know much about the first film, i have became a fan after playing the game although i plan on seeing the film very soon even though i am slightly to young... but anyways i think the new film wont be anywere near as good i think unlike the original film guns will be common place therefore all the classic fights sences iv herd about will end with a bullet

Looking forward to the new film?
only for you, doll!Mercy wrote:No, I'm not looking forward to see this movie.
I thing I know what Cowboy rules means... Of course this new movie is not gonna give the Warriors a bad name... not for us. What makes me fell really sad, is that the younger generations are gonna refer to The Warriors as " The Original Warriors" or worse " The Old Warriors movie" instead of simply THE WARRIORS...
SHM and Storm, stop with the atack on the guy!

No, I would not look forward to seeing this movie, as of the new ideas are dumb. See, it has nothing to do with that classic warriors. The Warriors original was an awesome movie but the unique part was with gangs like the Hi Hats or The Baseball Furies. It added to the creativity. Now it's going to be about Bloods and Crypts apparently.

I'm looking forward to seeing what the Big Cheese at Paramount will do with the original film to coincide with the remake...
New DVD with new features? Cinema screenings? New edition of the original book?

Re: Looking forward to the new film?
Im, sayin, come on guys, gun fire. I mean with gun fire the fight sceens would be over in like two seconds. Its like this, the punks follow the warriors into the restroom, and stand in front of the stalls. when they open them, [glow=red,2,300]BANG![/glow] Its over. aw, this sucks.Storm86 wrote: yea imagine the punks fight scene with gunfire with all that bathroom percussion it could be pret-ty loud

Re: Looking forward to the new film?
I just got back to this topic today so I havent seen it for ages. And I now wish to apoligise for that rude comment I made earlier. This film WILL make people who havent seen the 1979 Classic think this new movie will actually be good. I was young and foolish when I made that post. And also thank you to MC and Mercy for sticking up for me when being, deservidly, criticised.cowboy rules wrote: i've got mixed feelings. im kinda curious but at the same time it may make the original movie look bad! which i thought was never possible!

Re: Looking forward to the new film?
I forgot all about that whole situation. And as for sticking up for you, it's true and I still feel that way. But anyways, I don't think I am gonna watch the new film, but I probably will end up watching it at one point in my life. I just feel that it is gonna be a total waste of time and I was gonna buy it without even watching it [please don't get mad at me for that!] but I totally changed my mind and decided that it would be a waste of money and I feel I would be disrespecting the original by doing that. Now I have other plans for my money.

i was totally looking forward to it till i found out it wasnt a remake.... instead of some new gang movie... i mean that idea just isnt a fun concept.... i'll probably still watch it, but i know it wont be in the same, and will be totally out classed by the original
