Snow and the Turnbulls...

Ok, so when they are waiting for the train and what not, the Turnbulls show up and Snow says their gang name.

I figure he had some quarrel with them from the past, or maybe he just happens to know their name.

What do you think?
Do you think Fox knew their name too?

I think cleon used snow as a scout in the past.Thats why he knows their name,and probably is informed of many gang names.Thats why so many ppl think snow should be LT of swan,he is informed,plus he can give orders and the other warriors will follow.

Well, the Turnbulls are pretty outrageous looking. Ajax has an even stronger reaction to them. Ajax is so judgemental.

I think the turnbull ACs are as tought as sthe riffs and scarier, they are for sure skinheads maybe a little maniac,and the thingy about going in a bus around theyre turf really creeps me out, BUT NOT AS MUCH AS THE BASEBALL FURIES!!

Fox definitely would know who the Turnbulls were, that was what he was good at. He was the memory man. I think Snow got a better look at them first.
Sidenote: 5 will get you 10 that Fox was originally supposed to say that line but they didn't shoot that particular close up scene til after Fox had left.

i love you ajaxman! your posts always make me feel better about the amount of time, thought, and silent debate going on in my head regarding the warriors. yeah i agree that line wouldve made more sense if fox had said it, given his profile. part of me is glad he left the film early since it's given us so many faults/bloopers/what ifs to watch in the final production.
Like everyone else i think the gangs were all pretty well aware of who their rivals were. the club kid like themes to their outfits only made it easier. particularly when they are crazy skinheads with a bus that looks like something outta mad max.

snow may have been in a gang previous to the warriors and the gang he was in had dealings with turnbulls.and the other point i would definately say fox would have known who the turnbulls were.

notice how i dont have to use the game for any of that post.

The Turnbulls have a heavy rep. Why wouldn't The Warriors know of a solid outfit like them?

It says Fox waz a real orphan before he got into the warriors and he had to survive on his self so he knows what gangs are who and where to go and before fox join i bet snow did alot of the scouting

i would think that a lot of them would know the turnbulls just becasue how big and mean looking the gang was. They are probably one of the heaviest gangs in the city too.

I'm with you on this one.

But I can see where you guys are getting at, the Turnbulls having a really heavy rep and all, and the bus.
I guess it really is common sense.

well fox would have known who they were, but as for snowball he could have been in the ac's earlier, can anyone picture snowball bald??

Yeah, Snow was in the Turnbulls and Cowboy was in the Riffs. Swan was in the Orphans but he hit the "take 5" and moved to a better neighborhood. Vermin was a Punk but they were jealous they envied his sense of humor and threw him out.
