Question about the wonderwheel
In the opening shot, the wonderwheel appears to have standard white lights and neon. But every time I've seen it in photos or elsewhere the lights are reddish. Was the opening shot done in black and white or did they change the colors on the thing since the movie was shot?

Question about the wonderwheel
It would be cool if the purple neon lights still exist today! 8)

Question about the wonderwheel
I think I found the answer to my own question. Right after they board the train, there's the shot of the subway going around a bend. In the background is the wonderwheel and it definitely has red/purple lighting. You can also see it behind Cleon when he's making his speech. The opening shot was definitely done in black and white or at least with some sort of filter.
