Armies of the Night - Hurricanes

There is one part where there are two Hurricanes and a gate. I killed the Hurricanes and then there is a gate in my way. I try hitting it but nothing happens. I can see some Hurricanes on the other side of the fence

!!! help !!!

P.S. - sorry for posting this in Warriors game I know it should be in hints/tips

Press up on the analog stick. If this were fully 3D, then you would see an opening in the gate to your character's left. But yeah just go up and right through.
