The Cyrus Park Speech. Where?

Howdy folks. You know I have been really curious as to where the Cyrus park speech took place. Was it filmed at an actual park in New York? Or was it simply a Hollywood set? does anybody have the answer to this? I appoligize if this question has been asked and anwered by somebody else in the past. Happy trails.

VANCORTLANDT PARK

located in the bronx, rather close to gun hill(turnbull ac turf). i presume. 8)

It was Shot at Riverside Park on 92nd Street My Friend!!!
No Hollywood set can't capture The realness of New York City!!!! 8)

Is it Vancortland Park or Riverside Park on 92nd street. I got two different ansewers on where The Cyrus Park Speech was filmed. Please respond. Happy trails.

Watch the Director's Cut Featurettes. It was filmed in Riverside Park.

i am not sure where it is - i was there before but it looks small to me. there is no stairway or ramps like in the movie, so this is located at the southern part of Riverside Park near 79th St.. check out the pics in the link and tell me if this is the right location where Cyrus got shot?

it was definately shot at riverside but its meant to be set in vancortaldt park. it must be set in vancortlandt park because riverside is furies turf :-k

i think it is the place... but on the movie they hav added the wooded ledge on (the 1 cyrus climbs onto) like bobo the warrior sed i think its turnbulls turf to!

You've got it all wrong. The exact location is on 97th Street and Riverside Drive. There is only two trains on that direction: No. 1 & 9. It is assumed to be Van Cortland Park, where the forementioned trains make their last stop on the Uptowan route. It has not changed much. The platform where Cyrus made the speed it is not there anymore. It was a children's climbing ladder.
