Controls Anyone Else ?

Hey guys,
i have never been a fan of the joystick on the ps controller.I think it is so much more difficult to get your character to run around. On some of the earlier games, you had the option of changing it from joystick to d-pad, but now you have no choice.I think this is a big fault in games nowadays ! what do you guys think ?

I actually find the analog stick much easier to use than the d-pad, but i agree that it should be optional so that it is up to the gamer to decide

I only find D pad easier when I'm playing Tony Hawk, otherwise I feel that the analog stick are waaaaaaaaay better! But whatever floats your boat I guess.

I actually have to agree with this. Maybe my problem, though, is that I just haven't played a lot of games in recent years! I imagine I'll get more used to the analog stick as I play, but I do wish there was an option to change it.

The last video game I was excited enough about to buy on the day it came out (before The Warriors :D) was probably Super Mario Brothers 3. And...now I feel old.

With the joystick, you have the ability to walk, but the D-pad is just a button where there is no dead zone to tell when to walk or not. But if it works for you, then all the power to you.

Plus the joystick gives it more of an arcade-ish feel.
