I find it odd that they cut out both Rembrandt's
"Jesus Christ" (Turnbulls turn their bus towards The
Warriors) and his "Oh Jesus" (told at Union Square
that Ajax was arrested).

Also odd - they kept in the line by Fox, "...unless
you wanna get japped on an open platform" but edited
out "we're gonna get japped here, were gonna get
japped!" by Vermin.

Funny how some thing were cut while a few had the
curse word erased. Like how silly did it look after
Rembrandt told Vermin and Cochise that the gangs were
lookingh for them because they believed The Warriors
shot Cyrus, and you see Cochise's "oh ****" without
the word, he looks like he just makes a funny silent
face. Or how other times a piece of dialogue from the
same character would be spliced in when they curse. I
forget where in the film it was, but they spliced the
end of an Ajax sentence at the beginning, and kept it
also at the end as originally it was, so he said the
sentence, he said the same thing exactly the same way
twice in the same sentence! I can't remember what it
was but it was pretty hilarious!

All in all, the Spike TV version wasn't smooth at all,
and it was pretty bad. The cuts really hurt it, and
anyone who saw it for the very first time on Spike TV
is most likely to say, "it was ok, but is this the
legendary Warriors?" It ran pretty much as what it was
- a poorly chopped R-rated theatrical film thrown on
television.
Big Cyrus. He was gonna run the whole city...what crap that was.

half the movie was either cut out or words changed... the worst thing they said was "crap" and "damnit"... I'm suprised that was even there.

There was no "I'm gonna shove that bat up your ass and turn you into a popsicle" either. A real disgrace of a television movie.

That surprised me because VH-1 played that whole line in their "We Love The 70's" thing. But I guess I wasn't surprised as lesser words like "Jesus Christ" were cut out.
