Warriors DVD makes NY Post's "hot list" ---

I took a look, this isn't posted I believe, fun little thing...

Every Sunday, the NY Post newspaper prints a "Hot List", with the subtitle "What We Are Obsessed With This Week." It's a weekly top-ten list of what the Post feels is "happening" and "hot" for any given week. The new Warriors SE DVD is #7, with a pictrure of the new DVD, and the wording goes as follows...

#7 Ironic Gang Warfare
"The Warriors: Ultimate Director's Cut" explains the cult movie's origins (ancient Greece, would you believe?) and, even more disturbingly, tells us why tells us why the main gang members are white. Bizarre as ever, for $19.99."

Sounds like whoever wrote that didn't know about the movie's origins. Heck I remember a professor in my English Lit college class dedicating almost a full class to The Warriors and where it came from. But still, pretty cool for the DVD to get some additional attention from being on the Post's "Hot List."

(To non-New Yorkers: The NY Post is a great newspaper, but with a rep for outlandish headlines on page one. They would probably come up with a few good ones after The Warriors' adventure!)

Maybe they made a typo (The Post is sort of notorious for that). But it definitely was "ironic."

Like Cleon, the head of The warriors? Or Snow, or cochise or rembrandt? Seemed a pretty balanced bunch to me.
