Great find ohs.

Were you at all convinced when Tony Scott said "I loved the orginal, cough, cough and that's why I'm doing the movie"...............I wasn't.

didn't do much for me either.
I also liked how he was trying to NOT say it was a remake, but that he was keeping the basic storyline,
I have to say, after listening to him, this movie will have very little to do with either the original movie, OR the book---and will be as far removed from either, as to be a totally different project with only the title name in common.

Totally different script writer--totally different director---completely different movie.

I think I am glad, as when this comes out, IF it comes out--NO ONE is going to compare it to the original, or the book.
It is going to end up a movie with the same name, and that is all.
There are loads of those out on tape/tv now. One has nothing to do with the other, you just have to look at the date to know which is which, and usually which is better.

I just saw an ad for Domino tonight on tv, and it looks like the camera was on a roller coaster. Very hard to keep up with, and looks like it just runs from place to place fast, wonder if they actually have a story to go with the speed???

Well, there is a pretty brutal rape scene in the book, but I doubt that has anything to do with this scene. It's one of those manditory "hot" scenes sonanomous with Hollywood films.
