WARRIORS FILM LOCATIONS

HELLO ALL,
ITS GREAT TO BE A PART OF MY FAVORITE FILM OF ALL TIME!!

just wanted to see if there are any WARRIORS DIE HARDS who know more about the actual filming locations for THE WARRIORS,
being an filmaker myself, was thinking for fun to re-create some shots from the original film locations. i recently picked up a replica WARRIORS VEST...looking to find the right locations for the end sequence were SWAN & MERCY give each other a smile, then off down the beach at CONEY..where the rest of the WARRIORS are walking away from shot
Credits rolling with JOE WALSH'S "IN THE CITY".
me and my girl plan to go to CONEY ISLAND and re-create these shots!
any help out there? anybody know for sure any filming locations.
the IMDB is not too good on locations..they just mention CONEY ISLAND,CENTRAL PARK (no shit)...i want specific!!

cant wait till 10/4 directors cut!!!

Hi HIGH HAT. Welcome to the forum. You want harcore fans?? You found em! Visit the Locations section on the main page for a bunch of sites. You can also enter "locations" and serch this forum. The members here have pretty much found all the locations. And we wanna see these film shots if you ever do it!!

guys and babes,
GREAT PHOTOS! on your location page! its nice to see photo now and then.
this will be a great guide for me to try this out.
if and when i am able to recreate some of these shots..this will help.
does anybody know when CONEY ISLAND shuts down? can you still walk in the park once its closed.
any idea how close to the CONEY ISLAND PARK (on beach) for the final sequence (credits rolling)..is there a street name or number (between such and such on coney island beach).
plan to at least check out some locations in MANHATTEN first...anybody with more pictures or more specific locations, let me know.

will send finished film (super 8 films reels transfered thru TELECINE to DVD)
WHO KNOWS WHEN!!
maybe some of you WARRIOR HEADS can join me for the walk away from camera shot down CONEY beach (end sequence) anybody have the WARRIORS VESTS or something like it?
i need a VERMIN,COWBOY,COCHISE,REMBRANDT,SNOW
just for fun..maybe end of OCTOBER...ill see.

Can anyone here tell me wat the name of that train track was? the one were there runnin from the turnbull ac's and a train track is above them. Wat street was that?

It was at Eastern Parkway.
