It seems, to me, there are different sentiments about Cyrus and his plan. Vermin and Snow appear to be scoffers, while Cochise has a lingering enthusiasm. Rembrandt and Cowboy are sleeping.

Well considering how radical Cyrus's plan was--there should be some conflicting feelings regarding it.

I mean, yea the concept of having power is a big draw.
but actually GETTING it and then maintaining it is a BIG conflicting situation.
The ones that have had to make decisions-were the most skeptical about it.
And the ones who mostly follow, the idea was appealing, but they would never get close to the power so it didn't really matter to them.
If you don't have to figure out the HOW of the problem, you really don't ever have to actually deal with it.

And the ones with the real power in the Warrior hiarchy were the ones staying most alert, and the ones who follow (cowboy/Rembrant) could sleep, cause they knew if they were needed someone would tell them.
That part made sense to me.

They both had a part in the gang. Rembrandt seemed more useful in the bathroom scene in the original script. Also Cowboy might've been useless in the Fury scene but he did do alot of damage in the bathroom scene. Really none of the Warriors are useless.

If you say Snow was the least useful, you don't really know this movie. Â While I disagree with other fans once in a while, I've never heard anybody say such nonsense. Â I would put snow as third in fighting ability, under Cleon and Ajax. Â

At the start when they were at the meeting everyone seemed to be very enthusiatic about Cyrus' plan, but I think a lot of it vanished when he was shot, and then as the night wore on the energy that they were pumped up on at the meeting just ran out. I think since the Warriors only stayed on Coney most of the time they had it quite easy just protecting their own turf and doing what they did to get by, but then they found out as they made their way home how much effort and sacrifice it would take to carry out a large plan like Cyrus had. Maybe by the end of their journey they began to realize how over their heads they could have been if they participated in a united gang effort to take over the city.

I think by the time they were on the train back to Coney at the end, they had all realized that Cyrus wasn't 'the one and only' after all, he was just a small bloke with a big dream.

What's interesting is that we all talk about how Ajax woulda made a crap leader, but his instincts were right about the big meeting. He didn't trust Cyrus and he didn't trust the situation, and he was right not to. At the beginning he says 'I don't like what we're getting into. This whole thing stinks'. If they had all listened to him, then the Warriors wouldn't of even gone to the big meeting, but then of course we wouldn't of had a movie.

I got the feeling at the beginning, none of them except Cochise and Cleon were really wanting to go.
We all heard Swan's "we ain't even been to the bronx before.
And Cowboy asking what everyone knew about Cyrus.

I don't think any of them would have gone at all if Cleon hadn't forced the issue and said they were going.

cleon never really had a choice but to go really.his arm was twisted too far up his back by cyrus and perhaps his curiosity was burning away enough to find out just how much of the one and only cyrus really was.

As far as Cleon and Cochise being the only two that wanted to go, Cochise didn't really want to go," We're going in there with nothing!" Snow seemed more comfortable. Rembrandt was fully indoctrinated.
