I love the look, very nostalgic. Whenever I see The Warriors its got this huge glowing Aura around it... As far as caring goes no matter how many times I watch the movie everytime I see Cleon go to checkout Cyrus after hes been shot I kinda hope he changes his mind and bolts the other way with the rest of the Warriors. Then theirs Ajax..why does he have to always be so horny!

I think I love this movie alot because it has a surreal eerieness about it. Just something about this movie struck a chord with me when I first saw it at a drive-in when I was 10. The Baseball Furies really caught my eye because they were sort of creepy and spooky, they never spoke a word or made a sound the whole time they were chasing down The Warriors. I look back on this film with nostalgia, and I'll always love this movie. It's funny because I sometimes use pics of the Baseball Furies as my sigy and avatar on another message board that has nothing to do with the film, it's just because I like the Furies look and I get alot of people that compliment me on the pics and say how much they like the film too. The Warriors is just one of those movies that takes people to a certain place and time and not too many films can do that.

i liked the warriors for years but it whas when at university it really took off. the story goes something like this...

2 years back i was a 2nd year at lancaster uni (england). there is an annual football (soccer) 5 a side tournament that get ultra competitive and tough. 28 teams enter and hoards of fans watch; the whole thing lasts about 8 hours. i said to my teammates...hey we need a kit and we should go as the warriors!! i showed them all the film and they were up for it. i designed a kit (just a white vest with 'the warriors' actual logo blown up and spray painted on).

we played long and hard getting to the final (our line was uni team players). i had a bust knee, another two with swolen ankles; we were all battered and bruised pretty bad. the name 'warriors' was getting around (just like off the film) and teams were scared of us. we battled to hell in the final with the defending champs and finally we won 3-2. we were all jumping around like crazy!!

loads of people in the uni would say to us weeks later...were you one of the famous warriors...i felt like swan. lol. so we spread the word that the warriors were the best! ever since, we have called each other warriors and best of all...in this group im warlord! 8) a lot of my mates left that year so the whole 'win' was like a going away present and a group bonding experience...its 'our corridors' most memorable moment in the 3 years of uni...fantastic!! :D :D :D :D

The first time I saw this movie. It was 1982. I'll never forget. Swan just
said, "this is what we fought all night to get back to" And the reception went out. I went crazy trying to get it back. I didn't. At school the next day, one kid told me he watched it on cable and saw the track after Fox's train. I believed that for like 8 years. Anyway, This movie is the only thing I remember sharing with everybody from all the different chapters of my life. Nostalgia

I love this movie so much... because I love the characters, I love how the Warriors show such unity and bravery through no doubt one of the most difficult journey's they'll ever have to face. The fight scenes were coreographed really well, especially the one with The Punks. I think this movie was ahead of it's time, and that's why it's become such a cult hit, because people realize what a hidden gem this film really is.

I was 10 when i first seen this,on pirate video in 1980.I couldn`t get enough of it,watched it over and over.At that age i guess it was the violence, the bad language, the chases that i loved so much.25 years on i can see other things in it.The dark for starters,90% of the movie is at night making it much more eerie than if it was set in the day.Costumes, alot of detail had gone into this area, you have to give the costume department a pat on the back here!
The charactors, from the off you generally like the Warriors, each one is different, and you can see parts of youself in each of them. You got the tough, brave, stupid, careful, scared, clever, nervous, not so tough, funny, hasty, etc etc.
And the soundtrack is perfect, from the eerie tune at the beggining with the wonder-wheel to Joe Walsh`s `In the city`when alls well at the end.Just a few things that i appreciate in this movie.
Why dont you just soldier up and keep your mouth shut....
