i watched it at my mates house and we were only about 5. my mate loved arnie and i liked billie best (a coppa in the warriors)!!
obviously i loved the action and the story but what really made for me was the music...esp. the music at the end when the actors are shown in the credits.
we used to go out with toy guns and play 'predator' all the time. this was simply run and pretend predator is comin...were pretty fit cos of all that youthful running.
I remember really liking "Independence Day somewhere in my childhood. I saw it maybe 4 times in theatres. I was appaled when Family Guy called Bill Pullman a forgettable actor, because he is engraved in my cornea from watching that movie so many times.
Then there was this bleak spot in my life until I was about 8, and my dad bought the "remastered" Star Wars trilogy on VHS. (Not the changed special editions, mind you.)
well i must say THE WARRIORS. isaw it when i was 14 and i absolutly loved it. i cant describe the fealing i get when i see 9 furies and 9 get it. i also LOVE rock n roll high school with the ramones.
Night of the Living Dead. I saw it a year or so ago, since then it's been my favorite. I love the subtle social commentary and Romero is a cinematic genius.
I'm a man whose sick,
But I got class,
'cause you only get respect when you're kickin' ass
Has to be Star Wars i remember seeing it in a double presentation with Empire Strikes back in 1980 when i was 6.
Also the Goonies when it came out as me and my friends started a gang called the goonies after seeing and would go to old abandoned houses and quarries looking for secret tunnels. Great Memories
First memorable film for me was PufnStuf but it was so long ago before the birth of VCR's I wasn't able to watch it again and again. It is only recently that they have produced a DVD but I was pleased that it contains not only the film but also all 17 episodes of the tv show
Guess the first film that I could watch again and again due to having a video was Porky's and the Warriors.
