Motorcycle clubs issue
Is it true that certain Motorcycle Clubs do not like people wearing Warriors Vests? Has anyone heard of an actual incident? I live in the DC area and I know some of them are active around here, should I be concerned?
Re: Motorcycle clubs issue
You could always play it safe and buy a gamers vest, just a suggestion.

Re: Motorcycle clubs issue
I've had a couple of confrontations with Hells Angels when I first got my vest. 1 was ok with it and gave me some friendly advice before having a lengthy chat about the film (he was a fan). The second time was with a mouthy douchebag who had an aggressive attitude. Still refused to remove my vest though. Situation may have had a different ending if he wasn't on his own.
I wear the colors in public on the johnny blaze clothing. I get the occasional wannabe member in support tshirts, saying its not a good idea to wear it, but I just laugh and carry on with my business.
The area where I live doesn't have much of a biker gang presence. If you have doubts and think you may get hassle for wearing warriors colors, then my advice is don't wear it. Some bike gang members can take it quite seriously and wont give a shit that you're just a fan of a film.

The warbird is actually quite similar to their logo. I believe that is why they get so offended. I heard they have even taken it so far as to sue Toys “R” Us, Alexander McQueen, Amazon, Saks, Zappos, Walt Disney and Marvel Comics, all for using similar logo designs. I personally am going to wear my vest, I just hope i don't get my arse kicked.
Re: Motorcycle clubs issue
If you look closely, the warbird doesn't even remotely look like the ha death's head. In fact the death's head is a human skull(side view) with wings, and the warbird is a demon skull(frontview) with wings. So the only way the two look alike are the colors used, red on white. But the center club logo or mascot if you will, are totally different. Just my opinion.
I wanna be war chief,I bet you can't even find the subway.l
Re: Motorcycle clubs issue
You are talking about the regular HA logo. There was another take on their logo that a member did for a magazine that looks just like our WARRIORS logo. There is a thread somewhere on this site with a screen grab.warbird wrote:If you look closely, the warbird doesn't even remotely look like the ha death's head. Here is the thread with the screen grab. You can see it is the WARBIRD.

I never seen that one before thank you sir,but the main logo or mascot ,I believe is what they would be concerned about and a bottom rocker and mc patch.

Re: Motorcycle clubs issue
I've borne withness to HA affiliates hassling someone for a pin (in this case), that resembled neither their Death Head, nor our Warbird, but merely because it was comprised of both skull and wings!

Re: Motorcycle clubs issue
Has anyone thought of starting a riding club called warriors(-of course) but with smaller displacement engines, like the honda rebels?

Re: Motorcycle clubs issue
Why would the size of the engine be a concern?warbird wrote:Has anyone thought of starting a riding club called warriors(-of course) but with smaller displacement engines, like the honda rebels?

Re: Motorcycle clubs issue
Well most clubs are 650cc or up,I just thought 250cc cruiser style riding club would be fun that's all.

Re: Motorcycle clubs issue
Even the riding clubs have much bigger motorcycles, but there's room for a 250cc riding club. Like custom honda rebels, viragos, cfmoto v3 & v5 motorcycles, qlink tour and adventure motorcycles.
