Hey Boppers, hope all is well.
I just stumbled across this little bit I'd never seen before.
Sorry if it's old news:
Swan: [Deleted introductory scene in the subway] ... What's bugging you? You got a problem?
Ajax: Yeah, I got a problem. I don't like what we're getting into. This whole thing stinks.
Swan: We're going in there just like all the other guys.
Ajax: Just because some jerk named Cyrus wants a conclave and a truce, doesn't mean that it's a good thing. I'm sick of hearing about Cyrus.
Swan: You listen, that's the way it's going to be. And you're going to soldier, just like everybody else.
Ajax: Sure thing, Warchief.
[We cut to the film's normal opening, which shows the Wonder Wheel at night]
I just thought I'd post it up, well...Just cuz I like doing things like that!
Er...this is probably just dialog from one of the scenes in the version you can
only ever see on TV? (which I have not seen in ages)...oh well
Deleted dialog from beginning of film...

Stumbled across, where? Was the source text, or audio?
Thanks

Hey 4NIK8 (and all other Warriors fanatics),
Definitely text (nothing Earth shattering), here you go:
http://www.imdb.com/character/ch0014401/quotes
16th quote down from the top (I think).

Re: Deleted dialog from beginning of film...
I thought it was funny, because it reminded me so much
of the bit between Cleon and Ajax (in the very beginning),
where Cleon basically tells Ajax to just shut up and soldier down.
Except in this, Ajax is talking to Swan.
Kinda, interesting...wonder if it's legit? Maybe it's just from that
rough script that didn't get used (that has already been posted on
here I think). Sigh...

Nah, you were right the first time: it's a snippet of dialog from the opening sequence of the TV version.

Re: Deleted dialog from beginning of film...
I figured as much (I vaguely remember that little scene, just
wasn't sure). Thanks
On a completely different note, I thought this was strange:

Read the part under the welcome section. Random coincidence?

Re: Deleted dialog from beginning of film...
Try lip reading during the opening credits to get a few lines of extra dialogue.
On the subject of extra scenes, I viewed a copy of the 1980 film, Alligator. According to imdb, the aussies used a scene from the movie to use as filler for their version of the Warriors tv cut. It's a daytime scene of a cop car speedily driving down a street then pulling up. I'm guessing it got inserted around the beach confrontation part of the movie. It's only a few seconds long.
