Don't you know that since 1997, you are not allowed to open any action figures. You can merely stare at them in the package and count down the days that you can finance your grandchildren's education by selling them on Ebay.

good to hear Ajax is ok, otherwise you can contact customer service, and they may be able to hook you up, depending on stock...

yeah a few days ago I was putting my Swan figure into a slightly different pose with new weapons and with elbow joint kinda snapped clean in half. A bit of rubber cement and three hours later its back to normal, but I can't really move that joint anymore without it being a bit loose. Maybe I should try super gorilla glue next...
Funny thing is, now that he's ever so slightly damaged, it feels actually cool having him outside of the box, because now there's no tugging feeling of whether I should have left him unopened.

lol! Personally, i believe in opening figures. I don't think you can truly appreciate them in the package. However, i have been known to buy a 2nd set of lines i really like in order to have a set still MOC, but that's just in case something were to happen to my open set... i have a sick mind

Well, I can do one better. When I was 12, it was the hieght of the 70's action figures that are so valuable today. I had all the Mego superheros, Too many Original GI Joes to remember, God knows how many vinyl caped Jawas I went through, micronaughts, big jim, you name it.BTW when i was 12 i had all the orange card Star wars figures, with the long light sabers. and you know what i did? i opend them and played with them!!!
Not only were they all played with, but they were buried, burned, shot with BB guns, traded amongst friends, and any other sort of abuse a kid could put his toys through.

If I only knew then..................................

I'm getting one set loose and one set to keep on the card. Not to sell i just want a complete MOC set.
What sort of people actually kept figures on cards 25 years ago anyway.....Sad people that's who
I still have my Original Darth Vader and Luke with Tarmac that i stuck there heads back on with after they had been played with a bit rough.
I'll never forget one of the most traumatic time of my life when i got megatron on Christmas day from Santa and ran outside tripped up and snapped the barrel of the gun off

While we're on the subject of traumatic toy experiences...
Remember those Jurassic park dinosaurs that had a peice of "flesh" that came off so you could have "DINO DAMAGE!!!" and could see ribs, guts, etc? Well me and my bitchin' Jurassic Park T-rex were hanging out in the backyard (because every young boy's yard is still in the Cretacious Period) and I somehow lost that plastic peice. Whoever owns that house know has probably dug up about a dozen pieces of toys and stuff.
Life, just, wasn't so bright and shiny after that day....
Oh one time I had just bought a Boba Fett figure, and his antannae thing just kinda snapped off an hour later. Oh and I also lost the plastic Han in carbonite that came with my Slave I ship...

oh god you wanna know my traumatic experience, i was born and raised in herefordshire so i wasnt originally in this hell hole until year 5(5th grade)when i left to start a "new" and better life.
anyhow i must have been 6-7 and i was living at the end of chandos street and there was a little grate on the concrete part of my garden and i was playing with my power rangers toys and i thought, okey i wonder what will happen if i drop it down there,so i did and it fell down the bottom, from what i could see there was a tunnel so i could get it if i removed the grate but i was too puny and helpless.
i treid to fish that toy out every day until i moved house, it would stare up at the light were i could see it.....mocking me. its probably still there.

My old house use to have a Pool Table, and when i was 6 i droped a GI Joe into one of the holes. For years i never told my brothers out of fear they would kick the snot out of me. Then when o was 14 we were moving out of the house and leaving the pool table. So at that point i was going to get the figure back. i took a hammer and started to bash the side of the hole where he fell in. I could hear him jumping around. After and hour of bashing and my mother coming down to see what i did, she was pissed and told me to stop. So i never did get him back.

I have yet to have any breakage problems. In fact, I think these are made pretty durable. Of course, I have only opened three so far.

I'm not going to open mine...keep them in mint condition in the box is the best way. I know, it's tempting to want to take them out and check them out that way, but I learned that it is best to leave them in the original package, they become more valuable when left in the box.
