Sounds most promising indeed

Now, before we move on to the next stages, are you at liberty to reveal everything about this jacket?

Various and sundry items, such as:

How you acquired it
How you are certain of its provenance
Is the claim that these are original patches

Who YOU are

Etcetera…
Sure! I have nothing to hide and I have no intention of playing games with y'all! I LOVE THE WARRIORS!!! I've found a place where I can have a nice chin wag with many like-minded individuals and I'm not about to go about jeopardizing that now.

As you've probably gathered, my name is Jon. Although, I have become rather fond of my BM monicker :D

Anyway, I bought the jacket fair-and-square off a very nice man who goes by the name of David Harris. I believe you all know him ;)

Re. the provenance (nice word that) issue: Well, I don't suppose I can really prove the authenticity of the jacket, but David's word's good enough for me, chief. Consequently, I believe him when he says these are original patches.

Feel free to shoot me any more questions.

Cheers,
BM

i was a bit weary about the stuff he was selling because he sold a few things to someone in australia, then the auction that ninth was talking about came up and it had some of the same items in it.

Hmmm, you're right, that does sound a bit fishy. I don't know what else to tell you, sorry!

And when you compare both examples (those from the one presently on ebay and those from Profiles in History's Dec. 2010 Auction where it sold for $6,000) they are definately one and the same vest. You cannot have distress exactly in the same areas on the patches unless the patches are pre-fabricated with the distress already on them. So it would seem we have the exact same piece of wardrobe making its appearance yet again.
I think this is what is bewildering and confusing many of us into thinking "just how many original Cochise vests can there be". There most probably is not many at all, (maybe two or so) it's just that one keeps getting re-sold in auction every so often. If anyone can reference photo's from it's original sale in Profiles auction back in '06 where it garnered a heavy dollar amount, approx. $15,000, perhaps we can match it to this same vest showing up in Dec 2010 Profiles auction and now on ebay. Also in Profiles in History Auction 25 it sold for $10,000. So we may have the exact same vest popping up for sale on four different ocassions. PS: Also just had seen that Platos AKA: Rembrandts vest is now sold at The Golden Closet. I wonder if we'll now be seeing Rembrandts vest doing a few auction circuit loops in the future years, (smirk). These pieces are so rare I begin to wonder if there are any true fans holding onto the limited original Warriors wardrobe that ever comes up, as they seem to just rotate back into auctions within a year or so.
Oh, I've got one of those.
Does this mean you have one of the original warriors vests?

Two pairs of boots and two belts though. :? I'm not too sure they would have had two of everything.

James Remar and Michael Beck only had one belt each.

Well, he certainly had doubles if not triples of most if not all of his wardrobe, as does nearly every actor in nearly every movie.

No, i meant that in a positive way - based on the hints, I had to assume you were in possession of the ultimate Warrior's item

I guess I've been rumbled. Pardon the pun. It's all going to go a bit downhill from here, I'm afraid :(

Would I be correct in thinking the rockers on the original patches are 11inch (approx) in length? The reproduction ones always look too wide.

Fear not - I've no doubt you'll be bombarded with questions, after you start posting pics!
