Production Crew Jacket
Re: Warriors Vest_Screen Used Original Movie Wardrobe Prop
BOBBI, all you do is post "I have this" & "I have that.", but all we have seen is production photos. Post pics of YOU holding or wearing the jacket.
CREW JACKETS?
Preferably with a nice tight close-up on the patches...LIER ONE wrote:BOBBI, all you do is post "I have this" & "I have that.", but all we have seen is production photos. Post pics of YOU holding or wearing the jacket.

Ooo, you're a tough one to convince, aren't you? How would you like me to prove it's authenticity?4nik8 wrote:I have no doubt that there's AN orange jacket in your closetBobbie Mannix wrote:But there's one hanging in my closet as we speak???
I, RESPECTFULLY, dispute its authenticity, is all...

But you're a gent. You know how to treat a female impersonator. Who's wants an "identical" buckle, when you can have an original? I was hoping you noticed how much the kit was selling for before it was sold.Ninth Delegate wrote:It's only listed as sold. It doesn't state what price they sold for (at least not what I can see).
Feel sorry for whoever paid high bucks for the belt, being that it's NOT a 1 off and you can purchase identical vintage brass buckles off ebay for under $10.

What you have to understand is we have had PLENTY of people saying they have all sorts of things. Now you come in and have everything David was selling, but post up the production photos first? Hmmmm?? I would have posted pics of the jacket first.Bobbie Mannix wrote:And you're just being plain mean. You wish is my command, Kimosabe. Yeah, you're right, it does all seem a bit odd, but the reason is two-fold:LIER ONE wrote:What you have to understand is we have had PLENTY of people saying they have all sorts of things. 1) Until recently, I didn't have any scans of my collection. My collection is at home, the scanner, at work. I don't have time to scan everything in one sitting, but I'll try to get round to everything in time. You're in no particular hurry, right?
2) I wanted to leave the bigger/better items until last. I don't really want to let you go 'all-the-way' with me on our first few 'dates'. You'd think me cheap and you might never want to see me again What's wrong with keeping a lil mystery in our 'relationship', if you get my analogy?
Don't worry guys. Be sure of one thing: I will make our journey together worthwhile.

Firstly, thankyou for the close up shots of the jacket patches. Much appreciated.Bobbie Mannix wrote:But you're a gent. You know how to treat a female impersonator. I think the belt was around a grand. Can't remember what the other parts of the costume was going for. My brain registed that it was way out of my price range and switched off. I'll have a browse through the original thread and see if theres any mention on there.
This one is good enough for me....

Sounds most promising indeedBobbie Mannix wrote:Don't worry guys. Be sure of one thing: I will make our journey together worthwhile.
Now, before we move on to the next stages, are you at liberty to reveal everything about this jacket?
Various and sundry items, such as:
How you acquired it
How you are certain of its provenance
Is the claim that these are original patches
Who YOU are
Etcetera…
