Role playing teams

Ok I think this might work so I'm gonna try to solve this for everyone. From what I saw on the member list there are 6 Warriors and War Cheif which makes 7. So later on in the game 2 more can join. Other than that those of you who posts reguarly but are not Warriors write the name of the gang you want to join. After a week or so War Chief can see who is on what gang and the member with the most posts on that gang is the leader. Being leader just means you hold evyone together so don't try to be on a different gang so you can be leader. Hopefully we can have 5 or 6 different gangs.

P.S. I noticed some members that have never posted ever. Could you remove them from the forum if they don't ever plan on posting.

Yea because I figure once we erase those who never post then we'll have like 5 less members. Plus the people who are on more should be teamed up that way they can talk easier. I wouldn't want someone whose on once or twice a month on my team. I say if after 2 weeks someone hasn't said what team they want to be on then they shouldn't play. I want everyone that plays to be into it and participate fully to make it more enjoyable for the others.

I agree.

I have my email respose for my Work computer and check in the evening also. So i wouldn't want to be on a team with anyone who only checks once or twice a month either!

I haven't really played a RPG before but, i'm really interested and will pick up as we go!

RPG

I have set up a forum for the RPG and I'll start thinking about some rules and teams based on pieces of information from the forums.

I'll probably set up a web page (mini site) from the main site where you can get to the rules and team lists. How about a password area where each gang has its own username / password to access their own board or something for team tactics. I'm just making ideas, let me know what you think as I'm new to all this RPG thing and are not too sure how it works! Sounds fun!

You're right about one thing though, there should probably be a minimum post requirement to join (maybe 20 posts).

Another thing, what are people's opinions on moderators? Do you think some of the forums need pruning as it were?

Nice to see the Vermin avitar again War Chief. Like I said before if you want me to help you make some of the rules I'll be glad to. The idea for passwords for different gangs is a great idea I just don't know how to set it up. Hopefully you do. I think once your a Turnbull you should be allowed to play. On the role playing forum tell us what gang you want to be on. War Chief do you agrre with what I said about only the Warrior rank members being allowed to be Warriors? Also I think we should be our own characters instead of saying I'm Snowball from the Warriors. It's easier just to be your forum name. So I'll still be snowball fury.

Snowball Fury, you can help draw up some of the rules, and I'll modify them as necessary.

So Warrior ranks are Warriors (fair enough, since they helped the forum grow to where it is now!). I guess people can be called by their username as it will get complicated. I think you can now change your username if you wish in the profile screen.

Yea I agree War Chief. If you want change your name on the forum before we start the RPG. It will be alot more simple if we keep the forum names in the game so no one gets confused as to who is what character. I hope everyone can try to pick a gang by the end of the weekend. War Chief just give me a topic for the game and I'll come up with a rule concerning it. I say so far the gangs are from where they were in the movie ( unless we don't know where that gang is from). In that case the team chooses where they are from. I'm from NYC so if anyone needs help as to where locations are I'll be glad to help. Also vechicles and weapons are allowed by all gangs. Ex Warriors can steal a van and drive from Coney to attack another gang. And if possible I'd like to make it as real as possible. So if you're going from Coney to lets say the Bronx it would take like an hour by car. Everyone agree?

as for your game,are you using characters from the movie,or can we each create a character that is individual from the other? makes it more fun?? tell me what you think?
