last film i watched was raising arizona with nicholas cage. pretty interesting movie.

One of my favorite bits of trivia from this movie is that one of the fifteen babies that played the Arizona quintuplets in the film was fired during production when he learned to walk!

I wonder if that affected his self-esteem at all...

I just saw the new Nightmare On Elm Street film, and I loved it. Jackie Earle Haley was a great Freddy, and the story moved at a good pace, not too slow or fast. The use of the song "All I Have To Do Is Dream" was a nice eerie touch too.

Finally gotten around to watching Iron Man 2.  Wasn't impressed with micky rourke, but the rest of the flick was decent.  Not as action packed as the trailer makes it out to be, but comical banter between the main characters was spot on. (Note to Tarantino:  Thats how banter SHOULD be done).
Liked all the subtle references to the other marvel movies so it ties in (The aftermath of the hilk battle is on tv screens in the background).

On a downside, I got the trailer for the new robin hood film.  Looks utter tripe.  What's with the saving private ryan style normandy beach invasion?  There is no beach around here (I live in Nottingham, and it's the most land locked city in the country).  It's one film to avoid.

Just watched KICK-ASS. It was good to see a R-RATED Super-hero flick. The little girl was the funniest thing since the kid from ROLE MODELS.

Because of how good her performance was in this film, i'm actually looking forward to the Let the right one in remake that she'll be starring in.

Also thought the microwave scene was a nice touch.

If you're ANOES fan, don't! Some of my mates went to see it the other day (despite my warnings, lol). They say the film is a disaster; apparently, the only thing worse than the story is the mask Jackie Earle Haley is wearing. The only good thing is there were another 3-4 guys in the cinemas besides my mates, so not a lot of people have seen an attempt of destruction of what Wes Craven with Robert Englund and the rest of the crew were building through the years.

Just been to see Robin Hood, if you watch it, it all becomes clear with the beach invasion, still not really Robin Hood though, it ends where the story of robin hood begins?? Maybe a second installment??

That's its gimmick - it's said to be a prequel of sorts...
