Conclave in the UK

Hi everyone, I've been posting in the proving ground but not got a great response. I'm trying really hard to try and arrange a UK Conclave event for the anniversary. I'm in regular contact with the agent for a lot of the cast members and he has said that they would love to come over - Memorabilia at the NEC in November would be a perfect event for it. I've made some good progress about trying to get it sorted, but we need to evidence that there would be plenty of interest in a UK Conclave to make sure the organisers of Memorabilia pick it up. To this end, we've started a Warriors 30th Anniversary group on facebook here - http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#/grou ... 761&ref=ts and we're trying to get as many people as possible to join the group and post on the wall supporting an event. Things are moving with this but we do need to get a lot more people registering their interest to make sure Memorabilia realise there is a need for such an event. So please join the group, post on the wall and invite your friends too. It would be so great to have a UK Conclave too....

The more opportunities us fans can get to meet the cast, the better.
I'm not exactly getting an enthusiastic vibe from my fellow members so far.
Let your voice be heard and help make Warriors history. Leave a comment on the facebook group or email Paul Miley paul@mcmexpo.net and show the event organisers that there IS an interest and its worth their while booking the cast. The ball has started rolling. Its up to folk reading this, to keep it going.

they would need to spend a bit more on marketing this than just posting on the forum and facebook. there are lots of fans in the uk but probably do not check this forum. the conclave in new jersey wasnt too crowded at all but coney island was pretty packed. it was a great experience.

Coney was the experience of a lifetime. I cannot believe you, 4NIK and I were there and didn't speak in person (I know u and 4nik did)

i'm seeing scattered reports that imply that the Big Apple Con may be changing that date (unless Wizard World is a separate event...)
